ABSTRACT
The objective of the paper is describing results a survey on consumer's awareness, preferences and attitudes certified quality products such as fruit vegetable, in particular Sicilian Blood Oranges (Arancia Rossa di Sicilia) which PGI product. A total 26 participants with heterogenous socio-demographic background took part study. aim study was achieved using focus groups (FGs). Three sessions FGs were held September 2021 three Italian cities chosen convenience sample to represent entire territory. show that vegetables have particularly relevant role eating habits sample. For interviewees, label food guarantee being Italian, compliance production norms standards, natural genuine more intense good taste flavour. whole target, Arancia Sicilia premium product reliable excellence whose can be assured because it certified, long consumer recognizes certification logo
