ABSTRACT
This paper brings the comparison of performances CO2 conversion by plasma and plasma-assisted catalysis based on data collected from literature in this field, organised an open access online database. tool is to all users carry out their own analyses, but also contributors who wish add database order improve relevance comparisons made, ultimately efficiency plasma-catalysis. The creation user interface motivated fact that plasma-catalysis a fast-growing field for processes, be it methanation, dry reforming methane, methanolisation, or others. As result rapid increase, there need set standard procedures rigorously compare different systems. However, currently not possible because fundamental mechanisms are still too poorly understood define these procedures. Fortunately however, accumulated within community has become large enough warrant so-called "big data" studies more familiar fields medicine social sciences. To enable between multiple sets make future research effective, work proposes first whole community. been initiated framework H2020 European project called "PIONEER DataBase". gathers amount performance such as rate, energy efficiency, selectivity numerous sources coupled with without catalyst.
