ABSTRACT
Osteoarthritis (OA) is characterized by the infiltration and adhesion of monocyte into joint synovium. Vascular cell molecule 1 (VCAM-1) a critical that controls motility during OA progression. Cordycerebroside A, cerebroside compound isolated from Cordyceps militaris, inhibits production inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in synovial macrophages, but has not yet been investigated OA. Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) dataset analysis revealed higher levels VCAM-1 CD11b (a marker) tissue compared with normal healthy tissue. The same results were observed anterior cruciate ligament transaction (ACLT)-induced rats controls. A markedly suppressed expression human fibroblasts. MEK, ERK AP-1 signaling cascades regulated cordycerebroside A-induced inhibition production. Thus, promising agent for treatment
