ABSTRACT
There is a growing amount of research that highlights the significant connection between development colitis and both metabolic imbalance inflammatory response. Tagatose, an inherent sweetening agent alternative to sugar, plays crucial role in biosynthesis several chemicals pathways living organisms. However, specific biochemical mechanism via which tagatose hinders still not understood. According recent study, safeguarding integrity tight junctions inside intestinal mucosal barrier. Furthermore, it acknowledge presence correlation severity bowel disease (IBD) occurrence colorectal cancer (CRC), chemically-induced rodents, reduced blood levels tagatose. The treatment resulted decrease injury mice with colitis, regardless whether was caused by dextran sodium sulfate (DSS) or spontaneous IL-10-/- C3H/HeJBir mice. introduction model triggers cascade events, wherein expulsion cathepsin B enhances lysosomal cohesiveness. aforementioned method successfully inhibits activity myosin light chain kinase (MLCK) context epithelial damage, hence impeding deterioration junction initiation mitochondrial dysfunction. In summary, outcomes study have provided empirical evidence substantiates beneficial effects mitigating progression colitis. ability prevent disruption barrier responsible for this achievement. Hence, has promise as therapeutic adjunct management
