This study conducts an empirical analysis on the relationship between regional innovation environment (RIE) and scientific workers' innovative behavior. Additionally, it examines role of career satisfaction need for achievement in RIE A questionnaire is used to elicit responses from a sample 4,007 workers China. The data are analyzed SmartPLS software using structural equation model. results show positive significant effect behavior, while plays partial mediating relationship. serves as moderator such that stronger with less achievement. importance-performance map conducted; suggest three aspects (industry-university-research cooperation, policy entrepreneurship, talents) urgent improvement. aims understand more fully shed light relationships RIE, satisfaction, achievement, behavior obtain valuable information designing strategies aimed at creating favorable stimulating innovation.
