ABSTRACT
Metallo-β-lactamases (MBLs) type carbapenemases are produced by pathogenic Pseudomonas spp. and exhibit carbapenemase activity. The study will look into drug resistance the molecular mechanisms of drug-resistant aeruginosa variants. A total 74 P. strains were isolated from urine, pus, sputum, blood, throat swab, Foley's catheter, nasal swab. isolates screened for antibiotic susceptibility identified MDR further tested β-lactamase production. Multiplex PCR was used to identify presence mcr-1 blaNDM-1 genes in organisms. minimum inhibitory concentration ceftazidime colistin also determined, addition biofilm inhibitor Confocal microscopy determine production biofilms. exhibited aminoglycosides (amikacin gentamicin). Fifty three percent metallo-β-lactamase remaining non-metallo-β-lactamase (46.8 %) (p < 0.0001). MIC value producers against ranges 0.5 µg/mL 6 µg/mL. bacteria blaNDM−1 genes. strain treated with inhibited initial formation.
