ABSTRACT
To improve the low compactness and limited size of powder metallurgy (P/M) aluminum alloy materials, cold rolling deformation on P/M was carried out in this work. And microstructure mechanical properties during were investigated from multi-dimensional multi-scale perspectives. The results indicate that gradually evolved original equiaxial structure to fiber after rolling. Also, grain decreased with an increase cumulative reductions. When reduction increased 0 80%, relative density tensile strength samples 98.31% 221.94 MPa 99.04% 302.88 MPa, respectively. On basis, synergetic effect densification strengthening 2024 Al investigated. improved mainly resulted combined effects microstructural strengthening.
