ABSTRACT
To address Brazil's need for imported saline potassium, a technical feasibility study of the exploitation seabed potassium salts by solution mining in Brazil was conducted based on mapped anomaly coast Sergipe. This involved technical–scientific partnership between Federal University Minas Gerais, and National Agency Petroleum, Natural Gas Biofuels. The latter provided data acquired from wells drilled oil companies, including descriptions channel samples, composite profiles, drill hole profile, geophysics, gravimetry, magnetometry. were analyzed using petrographic tools to characterize anomalies at drilling sites. profile processed examine gamma ray, sonic resistivity, create filter separate other salts. objective build new route exploratory research sedimentary rocks. seismic interpretation results description holes used develop geological model mineral body with aim determining potential mine applications. Based findings, optimal parameters (equipment, pumping rate, layout, recuperation) possible defined.
