ABSTRACT
Artificial stones are building materials developed with stony waste aggregates and a polymeric resin as an agglomerate. Its mechanical properties, in general, overcome natural stone's since the use of makes it possible to manufacture less porous, that is, denser material, more impermeable, greater resistance. However, its development is costly because requires high-quality aggregates. Waste can replace these aggregates, developing economically environmentally advantageous novel, sustainable artificial stone. This work's main goal develop flexible stone based on glass tire agglomerated biopolymeric resin, polyurethane from castor oil, evaluate properties. Plates were manufactured 22% 78% different proportions two wastes (glass tire) mixed up. The molding was carried out under 600mmHg vacuum, 6Hz vibration, 80º hot pressing for 20 minutes. developed, named AS50GT AS66GT, lighter than other stones, but resistant bending efforts rubber material. they displayed high Izod impact strength, evidencing viable, not only economic environmental point view also technically viable once both be marked construction industry.
