ABSTRACT
NbTaTiV and CrNbTaTiV were fabricated by arc melting effect of Cr element on electrochemical high temperature hot corrosion behavior compared. Electrochemical investigations revealed that Laves phase at grain boundaries would underwent galvanic corrosion, resulting in a marginal reduction resistance. The results showed within Na2SO4 + 25 wt% NaCl molten salt environment, the oxide film formed effectively improved surface stability, reduced formation unprotected loose products generation low point chlorides with strong volatility, which resistance corrosion.
