ABSTRACT
Viscum coloratum (Kom.) Nakai is a well-known medicinal hemiparasite widely distributed in Asia. The synthesis and accumulation of its metabolites are affected by both environmental factors the host plants, while latter which usually overlooked. purpose this study was to comprehensively evaluate effects habitat on V. through multiple chemical biological approaches. metabolite profile harvested from three different plants two habitats were determined methods including high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet (HPLC-UV), gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID) ultra-performance chromatography quadrupole time flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOF/MS). differences antioxidant efficacy based vitro models. multivariate statistical analysis data fusion strategy applied analyze activity coloratum. Results indicated that obtained various approaches simultaneously environment factors, plays key role. Meanwhile, main differential between groups identified. results assay has greater than host. Therefore, we conclude integration combined with analysis, can determine influences plant metabolites, powerful control quality semi-parasitic herbal medicine.
