ABSTRACT
Layered backfill is commonly used in mining operations, and its mechanical behavior strongly influenced by delamination parameters. In this study, 13 specimens with different numbers of angle were prepared to investigate the anisotropic behavior, energy dissipation characteristics crack development backfill. P-wave velocity, uniaxial compression, scanning electron microscope (SEM), acoustic emission (AE) experiments conducted. The results indicate that: (1) velocity has linear elliptical relationships number surface angle, respectively; strength, parameters show a high degree coincidence terms their function relationship, which can realize rapid prediction strength. (2) microstructure delaminated looser than that matrix, leading decrease strength an increase at pore-fissure compaction stage. linearly anisotropy coefficient. (3) evolution angle-cut be divided into four stages, proportion elastic initiation stress peak increasing planes angle. (4) Crack increases resulting coefficient AE energy. These findings provide valuable insights for design filling materials processes operations.
