ABSTRACT
In several Spanish regions, collective action through production and marketing cooperatives has traditionally concentrated the food supply of small medium-sized farms. However, many are threatened by risk abandonment members' cropland, which reduces their sourcing capacity. this context, joint cropland management initiatives have become a useful form social organizational innovation. This research's contribution is twofold: it examines relevance some drivers innovation, determines cooperative characteristics or combinations that can sufficiently explain adoption strategy. Some cooperatives' features been priori identified as related to achievement initiatives: economic size, innovative behavior, collaborative orientation. The study mainly based on data from survey, fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) methodology used. analysis completed surveying managers about opinions strategy's main advantages drivers. Results indicate propensity cooperate with other key factors help create profile capable tackling challenge land consequent loss production.
