ABSTRACT
The aim of the current study was to evaluate and compare toxicities different types mosquito repellents i.e. coils, mats liquid vapors in animal models. Different including vaporizers, coils have been extensively used by people get protection from mosquitoes diseases associated with them. active constituents these include; allethrins, pyrethrins, paraffin various other derivatives, are well known for their toxicities. Exposure albino mice 3 h per day over a period 20 days produced significant toxicological effects on vital body organs including; liver, lungs, kidneys, brain heart. order toxicity nervous hepatic tissues found be: Coil > Liquid Mat while renal cardiac tissues, coil again be most toxic one, mat medium whereas as least (Coil liquid). Lungs almost equally affected all repellants. On basis findings, it has concluded that exposure can deleterious health cause related issues producing pathological changes organs.
