ABSTRACT
Gender gap in education has gained considerable attention recent years, as it carries profound implications for the academic community. However, while problem been tackled from a student perspective, research is still lacking an point of view. In this work, our main objective to address unexplored area by shedding light on intricate dynamics gender within Software Engineering (SE) To aim, we first review how SE community and academia addressed literature so far. Results show that men build more tightly-knit clusters but less global co-authorship relations than women, networks do not exhibit homophily.
