ABSTRACT
This research aimed to study the changes in platelet function and their underlying mechanisms iron deficiency anemia. Initially, we evaluated an IDA mice model. Due inability accurately reduce intracellular Fe2+ concentrations, investigated impact of on by introducing varying concentrations Fe2+. To probe mechanism, simultaneously examined dynamics calcium cytosol, integrin αIIbβ3 activation Fe2+-treated platelets. Ferroptosis inhibitors Lip-1 Fer-1 were applied determine whether ferroptosis was involved this process. Our revealed that suppressed mice. concentration-dependently facilitated vitro. Mechanistically, promoted mobilization, activation, its downstream outside-in signaling. Additionally, also demonstrated might play a role data suggest association between with resulting impaired function, while high contribute promoting ferroptosis.
