ABSTRACT
Recent years, biobased polymer packaging film in food has witnessed great developments. However, it is still a challenge to develop biodegradable films with antimicrobial property and mechanical strength. Herein, agar polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/Chitosan (CS) ε-polylysine/ZIF-L nanocomposites (ε[email protected]) were developed for the first time. Due incorporation of nanocomposite, UV/visible light barrier properties (the transmittance decreased by 10.9%) improved, elongation at break composite increased 43.0%. In assays, 4% ε[email protected], inhibition zone diameters against Bacillus subtilis 10 times as compared pure PVA/CS film. Furthermore, commercial PE film, protected] could provide long-term protection strawberry avoid microbial infection prolong shelf life fruit 25 °C. The results suggested that significantly behave potent antibacterial material preservation systems.
