ABSTRACT
Port State Control (PSC) can effectively improve crew and ship safety, reduce the probability of maritime accidents, prevent marine environment from being polluted, playing a key role in international shipping market. In order to identify degree influence various defects on main types ships PSC inspection, risk assessment matrix is constructed this paper determine level each detention defect. addition, considering association between defects, uses CARMA algorithm mine rules so as that cause higher detention. The results show for existing six types, Fire Safety Navigation, Life saving appliances ISM have risks detained by defect varies different ships. corresponding recommendations are provided port state control officer (PSCO) managers ensure safety based deficiencies. This has reference value companies manage efficiency inspection.
