ABSTRACT
Transfer functions are often used together with a wave spectrum for analysis of wave–ship interactions, where one application addresses the prediction wave-induced motions or other types global responses. This paper presents simple and practical method which can be to tune transfer function such responses facilitate improved capability. The input consists measured response, i.e. time series sequences from given sensor, 2D characterising seaway in measurements taken, an initial estimate response study. results obtained using data in-service container ship. spectra taken ERA5 database, while is computed by closed-form expression. shows that tuned leads predictions significantly compared without tuning.
