ABSTRACT
Two different synthetic approaches such as thermal decomposition method and microwave-assisted procedure were compared for the synthesis of nanosized ZnO. The two procedures tested using zinc acetate precursor is, or in presence coadjutants, one anthropic origin (melamine) derived from reuse agricultural waste (wine extracts). All samples physico-chemically characterized order to evaluate influence conditions on properties materials that by N2 adsorption/desorption at 77 K Field Emission-Scanning Electron microscopy measurements evaluating morphology, X-ray diffraction examining crystalline structure X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy evidencing surface composition nanoparticles. In verify electrical optical ZnO nanoparticles, forecasting their use photocatalytic applications, also band gap was evaluated means UV–Vis Tauc plot. A final comparison all results allowed evidence advantages disadvantages under study pointing out importance deepen microwave-based approaches.
