ABSTRACT
Powder hemostatic particles have no limitation on wound type and a wide application prospect in the treatment of hemostasis. In this study, bioactive glass-based membrane-like structure camouflage composite ([email protected]/CS) were prepared by Layer-by-layer (LBL) method to coat bovine serum albumin (BSA) chitosan (CS) surface synthesized macroporous mesoporous glass (MBG). The results showed that [email protected]/CS significantly improved coagulation effect MBG could activated both endogenous exogenous physiological pathways. had excellent water absorption quality immediately release Ca2+ participate pathway. main mechanism was BSA/CS form fibrin network aggregating erythrocytes activating platelets, thus rapidly factors. addition, significant bleeding (tail-amputation model) internal (liver injury SD rats, which shorten time reduce amount blood loss effectively. This research work stated MBG-based might be with potential applications as hemostasis biomaterial for emergency bleeding.
