ABSTRACT
Residual stress is the main hindrance to achieve a robust ceramic/metal brazed joint. In this study, yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) particles was fabricated into solid-state transformation composite filler, which proposed as new strategy strengthen Ti3SiC2/Cu After detailed characterization conducted on YSZ and joint, abnormal expansion properties of its strengthening joint mechanism were clarified. The content Y2O3 in had significant effects phase ZrO2 from tetragonal monoclinic. When 3 mol.% added, maximum occurred at about 500 ◦C, half brazing temperature, during cooling process. effectively released residual induced by both temperature changes stress. volume decreased thermal mismatch further
