ABSTRACT
This paper investigates the quasi-static response of structures inspired by horse hoof wall structure. The has a laminated structure which was mimicked to develop composite using biomimicry design spiral approach. Additive manufacturing technique used create structures. intermediate layers were filled with resin material in three different layer configurations variable angles 60°, 70°, and 90°. biomimetic investigated hemispherical indenter. To further understand influence filler material, also examined without filling layers. It found that flat layer, i.e. 90°, better energy absorption capacity than monolithic other research will assist development absorbing as well selection appropriate materials improve bonding between 3D printed structures, resulting increased structural strength.
