ABSTRACT
The magnetoelectric (ME) effect, with cross-correlation coupling between magnetic and electric degrees of freedom, is associated two promising application scenarios: field sensors electric-write magnetic-read memory devices. In this review, we highlight recent progress in ME laminates for sensor applications, particular regards to the most difficult technical obstacle their practical use (i.e. reduction equivalent noise), while presenting an evolution materials. challenges perspectives obstacles that would enable composites applications are emphasized.
