ABSTRACT
In this work we have synthesized silver nanoparticles in Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). This was achieved by polymerizing the mixture of monomer and corresponding metal compound, followed post-heating treatment. The linear absorption coefficient samples measured using a spectrophotometer, where an peak at 420 nm observed. grows up shifts as function concentration radical initiator. refractive index Fresnel equations agrees with previous reported results. nonlinear properties were obtained single lens Z-scan method, (Δα) found between 5.5975514 17.9483493 cm−1. (Δη) to be negative its value oscillates 12.9099 E-06 22.4276 E-06. Finally, third-order (χ(3)) calculated range 233–787 E-9 esu.
