ABSTRACT
Farming is facing many economic challenges in terms of productivity and cost-effectiveness. Labor shortage partly due to depopulation rural areas, especially Europe, another challenge. Domain specific problems such as accurate monitoring soil crop properties animal health are key factors for minimizing economical risks, not risking human health. The ECSEL AFarCloud (Aggregate the Cloud) project will provide a distributed platform autonomous farming that allow integration cooperation agriculture Cyber Physical Systems real-time order increase efficiency, productivity, health, food quality reduce farm labor costs. Moreover, can be integrated with management software support decision-making solutions based on big data mining techniques.
