ABSTRACT
Recent evidence suggests that physical activity may influence the functional connectivity of aging brain. The purpose this study was to examine on association between executive function and key brain networks graph theory metrics in community-dwelling older adults. Participants were 47 adults (M = 73 years; SD 5.92) who participated neuropsychological testing, measurements, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Seed-to-voxel moderation analyses conducted. Physical significantly positively associated with default mode network (DMN FC; Posterior Cingulate Gyrus, p-FDR 0.005; Frontal Pole (L), 0.006; Superior Gyrus 0.016) dorsal attention (DAN Inferior Pars Opercularis (R), 0.044). interaction DMN FC DAN analyzed. FC. When significant probed, differed levels high low such only at function. These results suggest greater later life is provides for importance cognitively healthy
