ABSTRACT
The optimal minimum ECCD power is evaluated numerically for completely suppressing the 3/2 and 2/1 NTMs in CFETR hybrid scenario. For two typical frequencies of sources launching from upper launcher (UL) ports, fec = 210 GHz 240 with O1-mode, UL1: (Ri, Zi) (8.47, 5.7) m UL2: (8.2, 4.5) m, higher frequency source UL2 port better than that low counterpart UL1 port. Using port, required to fully suppress precise alignment 12.4 MW 16.7 MW, respectively. When good cannot be achieved, results suggest misalignment should not exceed 0.02a, preferably 0.015a, corresponding 4.4 cm 3.3 cm. Considering engineering difficulty high-frequency gyrotron sources, 17.9 20.6 NTMs, In view this, it a choice select short medium term.
