ABSTRACT
We present an overview of results presented by the STAR collaboration at Quark Matter 2017 conference. report precision measurement elliptic flow D0 mesons and first Λc baryons in Au+Au collisions sNN=200GeV, which suggest thermalization charm quarks. B-hadron production is also measured via decay daughters, J/ψ, electrons collisions, exhibiting less suppression than high transverse momenta (pT) for electron channels. J/ψ ϒ measurements provide new insights into in-medium regeneration dissociation. Di-electron shows evidence coherent photo-production very low pT. The RHIC direct photon-jet coincidences reported, compared to distributions with π0 charged hadron triggers. jet shared momentum fraction zg no modification A+A contrast LHC measurements. First from fixed-target program show good agreement published results. New analysis methods chiral magnetic effect are discussed, together observation a non-zero global Λ polarization collisions. Finally, we give outlook detector upgrades Beam Energy Scan phase II.
