ABSTRACT
Background: Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is associated with numerous health benefits for infants.However, there are still significant barriers to EBF in many regions, particularly low-resource settings where cultural and socioeconomic factors may impact practices.Aims: This study aimed investigate the of on infant outcomes.Methods: A non-random sample 150 mothers their infants was selected this study, ranging age from birth one year old.The conducted December 2021 2022.The data were collected through interviews clinical examinations infants.Results: Our findings suggest that has a positive outcomes.Infants who exclusively breastfed had lower incidence illnesses such as diarrhea, otitis media, urinary tract infections, allergic diseases, pneumonia, protein energy malnutrition compared non-EBF infants.No differences observed anemia, fever, or hospitalizations between two groups. Conclusion:Our provides evidence outcomes Shendi City, Sudan.Efforts should be made promote support practices, mass media outlets television radio.Additionally, public social agencies established maternal healthcare.These interventions could help improve settings.
