ABSTRACT
Porous asphalt concrete is composed of aggregates, a bituminous binder and air voids which can form complex network. Because rain water easily drain through this network voids, porous often used for improving the security highways. However, deteriorating fast due to its large contact area with environmental agents. A quantitative determination influence on aging requires an understanding drainage evaporation in material. In paper, rate sample was investigated by means X-ray micro computed tomography. Discontinuities were observed. qualitative inspection pore allowed tentatively linking sudden acceleration disappearance lids clogging pores.
