ABSTRACT
: In Reunion, 27 medicinal plants have recently been registered in the French Pharmacopoeia. Among them, Ayapana triplinervis Vahl (A. triplinervis) is traditionally used to combat inflammation and oxidative stress, as well promote healing tissue regeneration. This work aims investigate toxicity of A. Aqueous Extract (AAE) using zebrafish model, determine its Maximum Non-Toxic Concentration (MNTC). Then, several pathological models established zebrafish, beneficial effects AAE at MNTC on inflammation, regeneration, lipid accumulation were investigated. was evaluated according OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation Development) guidelines eleutheroembryos (0 96 hpf) by gene/transgene expression analyses biomarkers. The impact stress regeneration studied immunohistochemistry reactive oxygen species staining methods a caudal fin amputation model. Finally, investigated high-fat diet (HFD)treated larvae. increased immune cell recruitment tail after amputation. It also reduced stress. HFD larva showed interesting reduction effects. Using rapid robust models, we demonstrated properties AAE, highlighting pro-regenerative, antioxidant lipid-lowering
