ABSTRACT
Herein, the marine source polymer, chitosan (CS), was utilized to fabricate bionanocomposites by mussel-inspired sonochemical assisted method. The surface modified nanofillers as active ingredients were provided assembling biomimetic polydopamine (PDA) onto CeO2 nanoparticles through redox polymerization a modification technology. Standard spectroscopic methods used characterize resulting cerium oxide PDA-treated (NPs). CeO2/PDA/CS nanocomposites (NC)s manufactured using process inserting nanostructured fillers into CS polymer matrix. morphological features and structural characteristics of NCs considered field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission thermogravimetric analysis techniques. It found that based on PDA layer hydrogen bond interactions between biopolymer functional units with have occurred. Therefore, pleasant distribution adapted NPs in macromolecular matrix form composites observed.
