ABSTRACT
In this paper, polylactide (PLA)/wood flour (WF)/calcium carbonate (CC) composites with different content of poly(maleic anhydride -co- vinyl acetate) (PMAVA) were prepared. PMAVA was obtained by radical solution polymerization and identified FTIR. The torque - time curves showed that the balance torques PLA/WF/CC improved adding PMAVA. SEM photographs after addition PMAVA, compatibility interfacial adhesion between filler (CC or WF) PLA in each composite increased. DSC heating two cold crystallization temperature (Tcc) peaks appeared composite, Tcc peak at high Tm containing split into peaks, showing effects WF CC on crystal uncorrelated, presence decreased integrity PLA. tensile test results strength modulus increased 0.5 wt% owned best performance. hydrolysis use low beneficial to improve its rate.
