ABSTRACT
This study first prepared a layered intumescent flame retardant (IFR)-graphene oxide (GO). Then, the multi-scale polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) composites were by introducing glass fiber (GF), boron nitride (BN), and nano SiO2 synergists of different shapes sizes. The results showed that SiO2-containing displayed excellent resistance with grade V-0 limiting oxygen index (LOI) 32%. IFR-GO, PBT, formed network structure where three additives interacted via hydrogen bonding, catalyzing charring in situ. Finally, obtained an droplet properties.
