ABSTRACT
In the architecture and construction sector increasing wish for individualization is often expressed in complex-shaped freeform buildings. Due to missing universal mature methods, buildings are usually realized using customized solutions including material-consuming substructures, while visible skin has neither structural nor functional properties. this context a new concept presented manufacturing self-supporting lightweight structures that integrates load- bearing, properties façade design one unit, double-layered structure. The prototype building demonstrates an efficient structure with surface specific weight of less than 16 kg/m2.
