ABSTRACT
Abstract From the field of “Geomatics Engineering”[1], better known as “Topographic Engineering” and other fields “surveyors”, has always driven knowledge our environment in order to capture it on a support then allow users work, taking decisions where you’ve never been, are early nautical charts, world map, cartographic maps cities countries, orthophotos more recently around digital medium, satellite images, google earth, etc... Augmented reality allows us make visible developing products that take years but was very difficult bring them general public (requiring techniques, graphic expression, heritage documentation methods, ....) this article want show techniques measurements complete geometric precision ensure final product is not only attractive strictly accurate real model. We explain how we use robotic total stations with reflectorless measurement, centimeter GPS, 3D scanner, close range photogrammetry[2], all so model accurate. There models have intrinsic value their own actions, no escape ancient Egyptian pyramid enough just an way, be geometrically if you test any hypothesis about mathematical knowledge, astronomical, etc. For believe both can each achieving best possible models, augmented will showcase showing exact elements obtained geomatics displayed or even researchers who know they working values (an archaeological dig, pyramid, sculpture, caves, ...).
