ABSTRACT
Abstract Emergency plan preparation is an important problem in building design to evacuate people as fast possible. Simulation exercises fire drills are not a realistic situation understand behaviour. In the case of crowd evacuations complexity and uncertainty systems increases. Computer simulation allows us run dynamics models extract information from emergency situations. Several solve evacuation problem. Individual oriented modelling give behaviour rules individual simulate interactions between them. Due variation on situations results have be statistically reliable. This reliability increases computing demand. Distributed parallel paradigms performance present work we distributed simulator. We implemented two versions model. One using Netlogo another C with MPI. chose real environment test simulator: pavilion 2 Fira de Barcelona building, able hold thousands persons. The simulator was tested 62,820 runs 15,000 individuals. this show how has linear speedup scales efficiently.
