User Acceptance Model of Government Microblog and Its Empirical Study

ABSTRACT
Abstract This study has built a structural equation model of user’s acceptance model of government microblog based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and technology acceptance model (TAM). It investigated government microblog users who registered in representative microblog platforms and collected 309 valid responses. Partial least squares (PLS) was used to test the research model, and the empirical findings revealed that users’ behavioral attitude towards government microblog, subjective norm and self-efficacy significantly affect users’ intentions to use government microblog, users’ behavioral attitude was significantly and positively affected by trust, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Accordingly, some effective strategies were put forward to improve the performance and management of government microblog, which have a positive and practical significance on the development of government microblog.
