ABSTRACT
Attention to the fatigue cracks in steel structures and bridges has been paid for a long time. Fatigue crack damage depends on number of stress range cycles. Three sizes are important characteristics propagation - initial size, detectable size acceptable size. The theoretical model progression paper is based linear fracture mechanics. When determining required degree reliability, it possible specify time first inspection construction which will focus damage. Using conditional probability, times subsequent inspections can be determined. For probabilistic calculation was used original new methods Direct Optimized Probabilistic Calculation ("DOProC"), uses purely numerical approach without any simulation or approximation techniques. algorithm applied FCProbCalc code ("Fatigue Crack Calculation"), using carry out modelling user friendly environment very effectively.
