ABSTRACT
The radio-frequency ion thruster (RIT) is a gridded accelerator which used as an alternating electro-magnetic field for plasma production. It suggested to use the 0-D analytical model based on energy and particles balance equations RIT integral parameters estimation well quick analysis of influence design modification performance improvement. numerical results (geometry discharge chamber, input power, current) can be first assumption more complicated models (1-D or 2-D). calculations are verified by experimental data. Such very helpful research thruster. gives possibility reduce amount hours work, consequently cost experiment.
