ABSTRACT
The forces acting upon a rock mass can result in physical changes on either side of the fault plane that are known as fracture zones. This tectonic activity will lead to difference density zones from surrounding rocks. condition be detected using gravity method. rocks contrast relatively small, so rigorous technique data processing detect its presence is required. research has developed and implemented gradient one acquisition techniques which found have high accuracy boundaries changes. For purposes analyzing responses identifying zones, characteristics strike-slip system were analyzed based forward inverse modeling results. Furthermore, anomaly inversions applied towards Palu-Koro fault, segment Palu City, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. measurement results show higher sensitivity compared detecting In addition, inversion shows lateral distribution identified more accurately.
