ABSTRACT
A bi-metal interface between S960 and either aluminium bronze or hard chrome is created using laser cladding technology. This subjected to metallographic analysis, identification of real chemical composition, detection potential stress concentrators microhardness test HV0.5. Tensile strength each type layer determined based on the measurement. Several conclusions describing changes in material properties vicinity bi-material are stated.
