ABSTRACT
Egg laying is an important reproductive behavior of female poultry. Here, we investigated the and clutch traits different goose breeds, specifically, Zhedong white geese (Anser cygnoides), Sichuan cygnoides) Hungarian anser). A total 108 in their first year were selected. Their rhythm was monitored daily by video cameras during egg-laying period. The results showed that prenatal included nest hunting, site selection nesting, as well crouching, anal contraction until oviposition postnatal resting. There some differences times among 3 breeds. Approximately 70% eggs laid between 03:00 12:00 geese, while throughout day. Also, length interval differed these average lengths approximately 14.07, 12.14 19.15 days respectively. While intervals 2 peaks (39 47 h), (41, 50 53 1 peak (46 h). Moreover, there significant correlation egg yield (r = 0.951), 0.987) 0.991), Taken together, difference breeds mainly reflected time intervals, have preference short which helpful not only to understand process, but also manage scientifically improve production.
