ABSTRACT
The search for a natural antimicrobial agent is ongoing and critical because of the rise rapid proliferation antibiotic-resistant pathogenic bacteria. current study aims to examine effect Paenibacillus polymyxa AM20 as an alternative antibiotic feed additive on Indian river broiler performance, digestive enzymes, thyroid hormones, lipid profile, hepatosomatic index, immunological response, gut bacteria, antioxidant parameters. bacterial isolate was identified at gene level by isolating DNA using PCR detect genes. Based 16S rRNA sequence analysis, polymyxa. One hundred twenty broilers (1-day old) were randomly divided into 4 groups 10 chicks each, with 3 replicates. control group fed basal diet only, while other administered diets supplemented P. concentrations: 0.5, 1, 1.5 mg/kg. findings revealed that all received graded amounts increased growth parameters throughout study. treatment mg/kg body gain 9% compared due intake (P = 0.0001), rate decreased conversion ratio. Compared group, (1.5 mg/kg) enhanced kidney functions in chickens reducing uric acid creatinine levels 0.0451). alanine aminotransferase aspartate transaminase liver significantly reduced doses. Liver function values highest those whose included had better blood cholesterol levels, high-density lipoprotein, low-density function, microbiota. In general, chickens' economic efficiency improved including their diet, which also carcass dressing, specific biochemical composition
