ABSTRACT
The cytokine storm induced by duck hepatitis A virus type 1 (DHAV-1) infection significantly contributes to severe, rapid deaths and economic losses in the industry Egypt. This study aimed investigate potential inhibitory effect of a nano-emulsion containing turmeric black pepper oil on immune response pathogenesis DHAV-1 ducklings. total 105 ducklings from non-vaccinated breeders were divided into 5 experimental groups, each comprising 21 birds. negative control group (G1) remained non-infected with non-treated nano-emulsion, while positive (G2) was infected but not treated nano-emulsion. other two groups (G3, supplemented which DHAV-1), 4 (the prophylactic G4) DHAV-1, both received throughout experiment. Group 5, (G5, therapeutic group) hand only onset clinical signs. At days old, (G2), (G4), (G5) DHAV-1. All exhibited depression, anorexia, opisthotonos, their livers displayed various degrees ecchymotic hemorrhage, liver enlargement, microscopic pathological lesions. Notably, experienced most severe pronounced effects compared Meanwhile, viral RNA loads lower tissues G4, G5) G2. Additionally, effectively modulated pro-inflammatory expression, antioxidant enzymes, lipid profile In conclusion, has be agent for regulating modulating response, decreasing DHAV-1-induced storms, minimizing mortality business. More research is needed understand how alleviates DHVA-1-induced storms lowers duckling mortality.
