ABSTRACT
A 15-year-old boy presented with left-sided hip pain and imaging consistent the diagnosis of femoroacetabular impingement. Following arthroscopy, which included an osteochondroplasty, labral repair, capsular patient's anterior improved. However, his deep aching persisted until ischial osteoid osteoma was identified treated radiofrequency ablation. At 3 years follow-up, patient reports high satisfaction minimal pain. We present this case to illustrate importance considering all potential causes persistent following including benign bone tumors may be difficult visualize on plain radiographs.
