Colo-colic intussusception in an adult caused by lipoma: Case report of a rare condition

ABSTRACT
This report describes the case of a 56-year-old woman who presented at emergency room with 3-week history severe, intermittent abdominal pain. A CT scan revealed colo-colic intussusception caused by large, substenosing mass predominant adipose density. Subsequent endoscopic examination biopsy necrotic tissue covering mass, without definitive histological characterization. second led to extremely rare diagnosis lipoma. While is in adults, it's important consider it as differential diagnosis, especially when presenting pain and signs bowel obstruction. Timely appropriate treatment are essential prevent complications.
