ABSTRACT
Mg alloys have been attracted as potential biomaterials for clinical application implant materials because of their exclusive properties including biodegradability, bioactivity, oseointegration etc. Despite these, fast degradation and a comparatively higher rate corrosion in the biological environment hide use biomedical applications. However, hydroxyapatite (HA) is naturally occurring mineral that can offer desired like biocompatibility, high osteoconductivity, non-inflammatory, non-toxicity. Numerous approaches adopted to fabricate HA coatings on overcome challenges but still some concerns are there. This article mainly focuses development various methodologies electro-deposition process, sol-gel, micro-arc oxidation etc., minimize overall preparation coating layers surfaces In addition, physical properties, mechanical integrity, discussed.
