ABSTRACT
Electric vehicles (EVs) offer benefits in terms of reducing emissions and saving energy over other conventional vehicles. There have been various studies on EVs for efficiency driving performance improvement. As an area EV systems, dual-motor systems with planetary gear trains studied fuel improvement, but they limitations torque vectoring maximum compared to typical systems. To overcome these limitations, a novel system train has suggested eco dynamic modes. The achieves variable motor operating points improvement by using dual motors train. Multiple modes are implemented synchronizer driving. was analyzed comparison left-and-right-wheel independent drive representative EPA test cycles. shows not only the possibility improving also functionality, which is available previous trains.
